Our client is a world leading manufacturer of components and equipment used in the commercial aircraft industry.
A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Field Operations Manager to be based in Hamburg, Germany. Applicants should be fully qualified aircraft engineers with proven experience in client aircraft support and engineering.
The company provides excellence in technical support to their customers to ensure that it's position as preferred supplier is maintained. Candidates will be expected to investigating, co-ordinate and respond to product support issues making the initial investigation and diagnose the symptons before advising the appropriate manufacturing/design department and arranging remedial action.
The ability to work very closely with customer staff at all corporate levels is essential in order to maintain first class service. Gathering customer maintenance scheduling information,analysing and forecasting spare parts requirements, participating in client reliability meetings, providing advise and appropriate services will all be part of the managers responsibilities.
Where neccessary arranging appropriate staff and resources for warranty and maintenance actions with assistance from the manufacturing sites or if a small engineering problem having the skills to carry out the work personally is all part of the managers role.
Ideally a degree in a technical subject is require but applicants with a minmum HND and proven experience will be acceptable
