Introduction:
Our client is a leading service provider to the MOD and is currently working in partnership to deliver the Sea King Integrated Operational Support (SKIOS), (Search and Rescue) project across the UK. Subsequently our client is looking for a number of Senior Technician (Avionics) to provide Avionic and Airframe helicopter maintenance and repair.
In return the successful candidate for this position of Senior Technician (Avionics) will be joining a very large company working in a dynamic and exciting environment.
Applicant Requirements:
- A strong avionics background within a rotary wing discipline (helicopter).
- Ideal candidates will have a comprehensive working knowledge of Westland rotary wing aircraft. Other helicopter types may also be considered.
- Candidates will ideally have Sea King helicopter experience although Lynx, Merlin and Apache helicopter experience will be also considered.
- The position would ideally suit a Class 1 or Senior Class 2 Corporal / Leading Hand or higher
- Civilians with NVQ level 3 and apprenticeship with relevant background will also be considered.
- Applicants will be considered from any of the armed services (Army, Navy or RAF) or from their civilian counterparts working in the offshore or other related industries.
