LOCATION: Christchurch, Dorset, South
SALARY: £34,000 - £38,000 + Benefits
* job purpose:
Particular Tasks include
Maintenance of project Design Part & Workset structures
Ensuring process lifecycles are followed
Identification and deployment of process improvements
Identification and deployment of appropriate toolsets
Production of baselines & supporting documentation
Configuration audits
Management of CM repository user accounts
Running the project CCBs
Data entry into the CM repository
Production of Configuration Status Accounts
Requirements: Experience configuring and maintaining Insyte CM tools (eg SAP) .
* key responsibility areas:
A key requirement is the ability to engage with key members of the project teams to ensure tool and process changes are readily adopted by the projects. Key responsibilities include maintaining the integrity and consistency of the CM repository, and the production of regular CM reports.
* additional information:
To Provide Software and Baseline Configuration Management and Control working on the various BIS projects including JCS Log, Lychgate and JFACHQ,. The role is to ensure that software is developed under strict version and change control and variant builds are maintained appropriately. The role will require data entry into the company data repository, running of the CCBs, identification of process improvements, the deployment of appropriate CM tools and associated training.
