A vacancy has arisen for a production engineer to take responsibility for the production engineering and quality control within a manufacturing cell.
Candidates should have served a recognised apprenticeship in an engineering or technical desicipline and have attained an HND in the relevent subject.
You should be able to provide strong technical support to the cell and design tooling, jigs and fixtures for work holding to improve efficiency and productivity within the team. The introduction of lean manufacturing techniques and processes through continuous improvement methods will be required. Maintenance of high quality levels is essential and the engineer will ensure that the team is provide with all the detail, components and information necessary to attain this high level.
