Position: Service Lab Engineer - Electronic and Mechanical Engineering Location: Chessington, Surrey Salary: £Competitive + excellent benefits. The client is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of optical fibre and associated products and is seeking a positive, bright and enthusiastic individual to work in a customer service dept servicing/repairing fusion splicers and associated equipment. The role is mainly based in our lab but you will be required to visit customers in the field from time to time. In addition you may have to assist our distributors in Europe and also receive technical training in Japan occasionally.
The ideal candidate: Essential skills required • Experience, understanding & qualification in the handling of electronic, electrical and mechanical engineering. • Computer literate in e-mail, word, excel and powerpoint. • Good communication skills- verbal and written. • The ability to work in a pressured environment.
