Principal Quality Control Engineer
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Principal Quality Control Engineer in Glenrothes, Fife. The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar role and provide quality engineering and assurance support for Semiconductors and also to provide management support to the semiconductors leadership team.
The ideal candidate will have management experience within a manufacturing and or engineering organisation, a strong Engineering background in either product or process engineering preferably within the semiconductor industry.
Experience:
- Conversant with the requirements of ISO/TS16949 or equivalent.
- Qualified in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
- Strong people management experience is essential.
- Good communicator both written and verbal.
- Proactively prevent and resolve quality related matters.
- Internal auditor training to AS9100 and ISO/TS 16949 is desirable.
- Knowledge of semiconductor reliability requirements is desirable.
- Knowledge of semiconductor processing is beneficial.
- Competent in use of standard software packages (EXCEL and Word) Knowledge of Minitab would be beneficial.
