An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen within the expanding ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) business group for a dynamic Systems Engineering team working on Geo-spatial and Imagery Intelligence Systems within a highly interactive environment involving a multi-national workforce.
You will have experience across the Systems Engineering lifecycle. You will be able to communicate to customers/stakeholders/management complex technical information and support the site lead in technical issues. You will have experience in Requirements capture and management, being able to translate customer desires/wishes/needs into tangible requirements, and linking into overall programme goals. You will be able to understand low level hardware and systems design on both Unix and Windows platforms. You will have knowledge of many of the aspects of large enterprise systems architectures (Storage and backup systems, Infrastructure, Networking, Server and Desktops, etc...). You will have an understanding of complex Systems of Systems design and interface management. You will be expected to be able to oversee installation and configuration of systems or components, not only at the physical level, but from process management and quality standpoint too. You will be able to ensure that programme wide goals are achieved. You will be a team player, able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
Deep understanding of the Systems Engineering lifecycle, and demonstrable application of relevant methodologies and toolsets;
- Proven and successful track record in design and delivery of systems for major software intensive, system integration programmes;
